Praise for this book

Absolutely loved diving into the world portrayed in this gripping novel! The premise—a futuristic society where a harsh exam dictates your place in life—had me hooked from the get-go. The characters, Stephen 'Mac' Mackenzie, Yoshiko Williams, and Dinesa 'Ditz' Agrawal, are so well-developed, each with their own compelling backstory and reasons for wanting to succeed. Their journey to becoming 'Techs' at Cambridge and the challenges they face along the way kept me on the edge of my seat. The author has masterfully crafted a tale that is not only thrilling but thought-provoking, questioning the role of artificial intelligence in our future. A must-read for anyone who loves a good sci-fi story with heart and depth. Five stars without a doubt!

Mac and Ditz are heart throbs. I loved this book! Such wonderful character development. Watching Mac learn the realities of power hit close to home. I am reading it again!
